The successful candidate will join a dynamic research environment within CBC and will have strong opportunities to collaborate with numerous Centers of Excellence across multiple Colleges. We seek candidates with a research and education program focused on the Chemistry of Materials for Energy Science and Applications, broadly defined. Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching and mentoring at both undergraduate and graduate levels and to fostering a welcoming environment that supports a variety of students, trainees, staff, and colleagues. Candidates will be expected to establish a vigorous and sustainable research program demonstrated by an excellent track record of creative research accomplishments and external funding. Preference will be given to candidates with the potential to collaborate and participate in activities on campus that meet the strategic goals of the University. Individuals who apply should be committed to working with faculty members in advancing research and practice. The program faculty places a high value on collaboration both within the program and across disciplines.
