Key Responsibilities Perform machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments for production runs. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and process issues. Conduct first-piece inspections to ensure product quality and specifications. Maintain and update setup documentation and process parameters. Collaborate with production and engineering to optimize machine performance. Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards during operations. Execute preventive maintenance tasks related to setups and tooling. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in machine setup, changeovers, and calibration within a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for production equipment. Proficiency with precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards. High School Diploma or GED; technical certification or vocational training preferred. Bonus Qualifications Experience with PLC programming or HMI development. Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software. Experience with robotic systems or advanced automation.
