Apply Description Shodair Children’s Hospital is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, safety, and security of our hospital’s physical plant and campus grounds. This role is vital to ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.Key Responsibilities:Operate and maintain hospital equipment and systemsComplete assigned work orders and preventive maintenance tasksDocument inspections, testing, and repairs accuratelyMaintain landscaping and lawn care across the campusOperate snow removal equipment during inclement weatherSupport building security and assist with routine safety checksPaint and perform minor structural repairs to walls and facilitiesAssist with pool operations and equipment maintenanceProvide on-call assistance as scheduledCollaborate with and assist other departments as neededWork some weekends and holidays as part of regular coverageWhy Join Shodair?At Shodair Children’s Hospital, you’ll be part of a mission-driven organization committed to providing compassionate care to children and families. Requirements Required Qualifications:Valid Driver’s LicenseAbility to communicate clearly and work effectively both independently and within a teamAttention to detail and the ability to follow instructions preciselyBasic computer, math, and writing skillsMust be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and perform physical tasksPreferred Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalentPrior experience in maintenance or facility securityKnowledge of HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing fixturesFamiliarity with pool maintenance and operationLow Pressure Boilers License and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification a plus Salary Description Starting at $19.04 per hour
