Job SummaryThe Marketing Analyst will support Chord’s Marketing and Midstream entities in a variety of areas, including contract management, commercial support, audit and compliance. Internal communication is required with various departments including Legal, Treasury, IT, Financial Reporting and Accounting along with external communication with companies with whom Marketing transacts its business. This position reports directly to the Manager Data and Contracts Marketing and is located in downtown Houston, TX. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience.Essential Job FunctionsContract managementTrack minimum volume commitmentsMaintain transactions in EMK3 - Provide deal confirmations to counterpartiesPrepare monthly Accounting files, including net realized pricing and all deals reportManage monthly settlement with counterpartiesWork closely with Marketing and Midstream groups to understand the commercial businessProvide innovative perspective to establish efficient processesLiaison between commercial groups, auditors and AccountingWork cross-functionally to move necessary department projects forwardThis job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities of the position. Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degreeAt least two (2) years of experience in marketing commercial support, contracts or accountingOil and gas industry experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPointPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds, vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
