Most importantly, our exceptional employee retention rate reflects a culture of professional growth, mission focus, and dedication—ensuring long-term stability and expertise for our customers’ critical needs.Job SummaryThe Software Engineer will become a member of a mature software development effort using Java as the primary languageThe development effort uses Agile methods to assign, track and manage software activities and requirements within the teamThis position will allow an advanced developer to broaden their skills in the Java language as well as use current technologies such as Quarkus and PrimeFacesPrimary ResponsibilitiesDesign or implement complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints; Perform quality control on team productsImplement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standardsConfer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfacesCoordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functions to ensure operational specifications are metRequired QualificationsMust have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope PolygraphTwenty (20) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is requiredBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is requiredFour (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a Bachelor’s DegreeDesired QualificationsExperience with the following:DBA developmentJavaSQLQuery creationPostGreSQLElasticSearch aggregationsAWSQuarkusPrimeFacesGitLab CI/CDExempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans.
