Install, maintain and repair commercial/industrial electrical systems up to 480 V, ensuring compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Tyler municipal ordinances. Key Responsibilities Lay out, bend and thread conduit; pull, splice and terminate conductors. Read blueprints, one‑lines and wiring diagrams to plan cable routes and panel locations. Test continuity, voltage and amperage; troubleshoot faults with multimeters/megohm testers. Install MCCs, VFDs, lighting and motor‑control circuits; size breakers and fuses. Complete permits, inspection requests and red‑line drawings; mentor apprentices. Enforce lock‑out/tag‑out and NFPA 70E arc‑flash safety procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications Texas Journeyman Electrician License (TDLR). 4+ yrs experience in industrial or commercial construction/service. Strong knowledge of 3‑phase distribution, motor controls and NEC Article 430. Ability to work from lifts, ladders and confined spaces; lift 75 lbs. Preferred Experience with PLC I/O wiring, fire‑alarm or low‑voltage control systems; OSHA 30.
