We’re seeking passionate and energetic individuals to join our team as part-time Teacher Assistants at our Early Learning Center in Waterloo, NY. PAY: $15.50 per hour JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt YOUR ROLE INCLUDES: Partnering with the Lead Teacher to plan and lead hands-on activities based on the Creative Curriculum, tailored to the needs and interests of the children. Maintaining open communication with parents and families via the Playground App, sharing insights about their child’s daily experiences. Fostering positive adult-child interactions using the CLASS method, ensuring every child feels supported and valued. Promoting the education, health, and safety of the children in the classroom and the broader center community by following ECERS/ITERS standards. QUALIFICATIONS: You are 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent. While 1 year of experience working with children under 13 is a plus, it's not a requirement we value passion and potential Be prepared for a background check, including fingerprinting, references, and SEL & SCR clearance through the NYS Office of Children and Family Services. You’ve been cleared by your doctor to perform all job duties and are free of communicable diseases, including TB. You are warm, friendly, and enthusiastic with excellent people skills, whether interacting with children, parents, or team members. You are also professional, dependable, and always punctual.
