Truck Driver Recruiter Job Description Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver Recruiter to help identify, screen, and onboard qualified CDL-A drivers for multiple carriers. This role requires confidence on the phone, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage leads from start to finish. Recruiters should be organized, dependable, and able to work independently. Key Responsibilities Source and contact CDL-A drivers using approved platforms. Conduct phone screenings to confirm experience, safety history, and job preferences. Review work history, driving records, and application details for accuracy. Guide drivers through the application process and required steps. Maintain detailed notes and follow-up schedules for each driver. Coordinate interviews, orientations, and carrier communication. Track daily productivity and meet placement goals. Provide a professional and positive experience for all applicants. Requirements Previous experience as a truck driver recruiter or experience in transportation, dispatch, HR, or sales. Ability to handle a high volume of calls and messages. Strong verbal communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of DOT qualifications and carrier hiring standards (preferred). Must be able to work independently and manage a pipeline of applicants. Basic computer skills and ability to use email, CRM, and application platforms. Work Details 1099 or contract-based structure (if applicable). Pay is based on driver placements (customize for your company). Flexible hours must be available to communicate with drivers during peak times. Remote/at-home environment.
