A skilled Respiratory Therapist is needed for a permanent, onsite role at a skilled nursing/rehab facility in Coventry, Rhode Island (02816). The center provides short-stay rehabilitation following hospitalizations as well as long-term care, including a ventilator unit. Role details Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (Permanent) Location: Coventry, RI 02816, United States. Schedule: 35 hours per week Shifts: 3 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends Employment Type: Permanent, facility-based Key responsibilities Provide respiratory care services to post-acute rehab and long-term care residents, including those on ventilator support. Perform patient assessments, monitor respiratory status, and deliver appropriate therapeutic interventions in line with physician orders and facility protocols. Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to support safe ventilator and tracheostomy management and optimize patient outcomes. Candidate profile Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RT) with eligibility to work in Rhode Island. Experience in skilled nursing, sub-acute rehab, or long-term care settings preferred. Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends and caring for ventilator-dependent patients.
