Mammography Technologist (Multiple Openings & Levels) Locations: The Woodlands, TX; Downtown Houston, TX Onsite role reporting in person required Visa sponsorship: Not available Relocation assistance: Up to $10,000 (paid as a lump sum after hire; mileage-based) Travel required: No Benefits: Full Benefits Plan Overview We are hiring multiple Mammography Technologists at different levels: Lead Mammography Technologist, Senior Mammography Technologist, and Mammography Technologist (Mid-Level). These roles support newly renovated breast imaging centers offering advanced imaging services and a patient-focused care environment. Schedules / Shift Details • The Woodlands sites: o Option A: 4 10-hour days (7:00 AM 5:30 PM) Monday Friday + one Saturday/month (clinic closes early) o Option B: Mon Fri 7:00 AM 3:30 PM with rotating Saturday (7:00 AM 1:00 PM) o No holidays, no call (for certain site/role) • Downtown Houston site: o Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:30 PM • Overtime: Available at select locations (optional) Core Responsibilities (All Levels) • Perform high-quality diagnostic mammography exams adhering to radiation safety and regulatory standards • Prepare and position patients; explain procedures and ensure patient comfort • Ensure technical image quality and appropriate imaging techniques for diverse patient populations • Enter and maintain accurate patient data in EMR systems • Conduct daily quality assurance and routine equipment checks; assist with accreditation tasks (ACR/MQSA) • Identify and report equipment issues, incidents, or patient concerns • Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety procedures, and workflow expectations • Promote compassionate, patient-centered care and professional teamwork Additional Responsibilities Senior & Lead Levels Senior Mammography Technologist • Mentor and support junior technologists • Assist with scheduling, workflow optimization, and quality review processes • Participate in audit readiness and performance improvement initiatives Lead Mammography Technologist • Provide shift leadership and clinical expertise; oversee daily operations and staff assignments • Coordinate MQSA readiness, QC documentation, and clinician support (pathology/radiology workflows) • Serve as liaison among technologists, radiologists, nursing, and administrative teams • Coach, train, and evaluate staff; support hiring/onboarding and performance feedback • Manage supplies, equipment maintenance oversight, shift reports, and incident documentation • Represent diagnostic services in leadership meetings and improvement initiatives Minimum Qualifications (All Positions) • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and an accredited Mammography program • Current state MRT license (or temporary license) where required • ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) • ARRT Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M) • BLS or ACLS certification (as required) • Ability to lift and assist in patient transfers when needed Experience Requirements • Lead Mammography Technologist: Minimum 5 years mammography experience; leadership experience required • Senior Mammography Technologist: Minimum 4 years mammography experience • Mammography Technologist (Mid-Level): Experience preferred; mammography training required Preferred / Nice-to-Have • Experience with scheduling and clinic operations • Experience with quality reviews and audit preparation (ACR/Joint Commission) • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills • Experience with EMR systems and imaging dashboards What We Offer • Newly renovated imaging centers and supportive clinical teams • Opportunities for professional development and continuing education • Relocation assistance (where applicable) • Optional overtime opportunities for additional hours -- Best Regards, Varun Warney Senior Technical & Healthcare Recruiter MedsTalent LLC Mobile:- 303-535-1336 Office:- 609-745-7887 Ext:- 104 Address: 335 George St Ste 4, New Brunswick, NJ 08901
