The nurse practitioner will always abide by the standards and laws governing their certifications. It is the responsibility of the nurse practitioner to keep all certifications and licenses current at all times.
Requirements:- Current Louisiana State Licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
- Family Nurse Practitioner ANCC or AANPCP Certified for Family Practice
- Current BLS, PALS and ACLS Certification
- Eligible for Louisiana Prescriptive Authority
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment
