We are seeking candidates for a Pest Control Technician – Light Maintenance to work at Aspen Village Apartments in Greater Cincinnati. Pest Control license preferred; however, we can train the right candidate and assist them to becoming certified


Signing bonus $1,000


Job Description:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of resident’s units to identify pest infestation.
  • Develop and implement effective pest control strategies, including safe application of pesticides and setting traps.
  • Monitor and manage pest activity, ensuring timely follow up treatments as needed. Maintain accurate records of pest control activities, including services provided, chemicals used, and customer interactions.
  • Daily grounds pick up in all outside areas, which includes maintaining a neat area around all outside dumpsters. Inside trash pickup includes the club house, fitness room and various public restrooms on site.
  • Assist with heavy trash disposal in turnover apartments. Light maintenance may include basic plumbing and electrical.
  • Pressure washing, operating backpack blower and assisting in moving appliances.
  • Outside grounds maintenance may include blowing/raking leaves, trimming bushes and small trees, snow removal and salt spreading, pool maintenance, cleaning gutters.
  • May be required to operate small power tools.

Requirements:

Job Requirements

Candidates should be able to lift 50-100 lbs. A

Able to climb stairs and ladders.

Working conditions include exposure to weather. May be required to have a vehicle. Valid driver’s license and state minimum insurance is required.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Pest Control License - preferred - not required
  • General laborer: 1 year (Required)
  • Property maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
