Job Details:

We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our team and assist in managing commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with either interior projects ranging from $3M to $5M or ground-up projects between $5M and $10M. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain more field management experience and advance into a Superintendent role.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Superintendent in managing daily on-site activities to ensure project success.
  • Oversee subcontractors and trades, ensuring work is completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
  • Help maintain and enforce site safety protocols to ensure OSHA compliance and a safe work environment.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to keep the project on track.
  • Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to assist in field execution.
  • Monitor material deliveries and ensure proper sequencing of construction activities.
  • Participate in progress meetings and assist in resolving field issues as they arise.
  • Help maintain accurate site logs, RFIs, submittals, and daily reports.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably with a general contractor.
  • Experience managing either interior projects ($3M-$5M) or ground-up projects ($5M-$10M).
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and project management principles.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work on-site
