Job Type: Contract to Hire
Pay Range: $20-$25 per hour
Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machining equipment independently, including performing daily maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to ensure precision.
  • Work with various materials and tooling, perform machine setups, and operate hand grinders and overhead cranes as needed.
  • Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, feed, RPM) to meet production requirements.
  • Monitor and inspect machined parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications, making necessary adjustments during the process.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understand basic CNC programming concepts, including G-codes, M-codes, tool offsets, and work offsets.
  • Follow all shop rules and safety regulations.
  • Be flexible to work overtime when required.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred; Vocational training or relevant work experience is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of CNC operations and machining principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
