Job Description: As an Experienced CNC Machinist, you will play a critical role in the production of high-precision aerospace components. You will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce parts to exact specifications. Your expertise will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision aerospace components such a bearings, washers, and seals.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to optimize production processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Document and report production data accurately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Some understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
- Experience with various CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and grinders is helpful
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work second or third shift.
