Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLennon, Smith, Souleret Engineering, Inc. (LSSE) is a 160 person civil engineering and surveying firm. Services are delivered throughout western Pennsylvania and the Tri-State region from our headquarters office located in Coraopolis (Allegheny County), 7 branch offices throughout western Pennsylvania, and 1 branch office in Ohio.



The Stormwater Intern position is a seasonal / summer position based out of the Coraopolis office.

Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

Candidates must have dependable transportation, which will be needed to travel to various municipalities within the Greater Pittsburgh Area.

Candidates must have a general understanding of storm sewer systems including a basic knowledge of conveyance systems.

Water sampling is also required, so candidate should have general understanding of basic testing methods.

Candidate must also have general technical knowledge to utilize GIS based mapping system.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.

All field work is weather dependent. The position requires approximately 75% fieldwork versus 25% office work.
