Job Responsibilities:
- Provide Family-Centered Care: Uphold our mission of delivering compassionate, client-centered therapy.
- Collaborate with Families & Teams: Work closely with families, interdisciplinary team members, and community partners to create the best plan of care for each child.
- Assess & Treat Communication Challenges: Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, or swallowing disorders. Develop and implement effective, personalized treatment plans.
- Ongoing Support & Education: Empower families by teaching them techniques and strategies to improve communication, and create home programs to support progress beyond therapy sessions.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in line with payer guidelines and Montanas speech therapy regulations.
- Contribute to the Team: Participate in team meetings, collaborate on goals for patients, and share knowledge with teammates to enhance the quality of care provided.
- Community Engagement: Help advocate for therapy services in local schools, daycares, and other community sites to raise awareness and expand access to services.
What Were Looking For:
- A Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an equivalent program.
- Ability to obtain an SLP license in Montana (Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply).
- Enjoyment of working with diverse populations, especially children, and family-centered care.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred or to be completed within 90 days of hire).
- A current drivers license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle for travel to clients' homes and community locations.
