DevSecOps Manager

WHAT YOULL DO
As our DevSecOps Manager, youll be a shared resource working across all business segments maintaining and developing Seakeepers application development security to meet our goal of continuous integration/continuous development while maintaining security. This position is intended to bolster our application development team and further help integrate with our IT team. Youll help to set the standard and improve our development and operations through the following:
- Building a security-aware culture by ensuring security testing is a part of the development process itself (shift left)
- Reviewing code and our security posture, and communicating cross functionally to help teams deliver on timelines while driving a security standard from the start (shift left)
- Hiring, mentoring, coaching and building a team of DevOps professionals
- Developing, communicating, and implementing robust and secure cloud continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and defining requirements and metrics for compliance standards (OWASP)
- Participating in all phases of SDLC
- Collaborating and working closely with our Embedded Software and Systems Development team on key DevOps initiatives related to application development
- Having ownership of code repository platforms and platform security
- Implementing security technologies to identify, assess, and remediate application and code vulnerabilities (SAST, SCA, IAST, DAST, etc.) and developing threat modeling metrics in line with current IT Security platforms
- Implementing service maturity model
- Architecting and managing CaaS or IaaS for code development and testing
- Developing extensive code reviews and analysis
- Writing reports on code analysis to determine if industry standards and secure coding best practices are being followed and providing analysis to address shortcomings
- Creating efficiency toolkits to enable engineers to implement technologies faster while maintaining security while reducing time to deploy
- Articulating business needs and translating them into technology solutions
- Leveraging Agile Framework

MUST-HAVES
- Bachelors degree in computer science, or Information Systems
- 7+ years experience working in a DevSecOps role
- Experience leading a team of direct reports
- Experience with a variety of DevOps tools, knowledge of DevOps automation, and strong experience with Linux administration, containerization, and microservices architecture
- Extensive experience with build pipelines on embedded technology
- Atlassian administration experience (BitBucket, Jira, Confluence)
- Git experience
- Artifact management experience
- Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Automation technologies (Jenkins, Terraform, Helm)
NICE-TO-HAVES
- MATLAB
- C, C#, C++, JavaScript, and Python

- Located onsite in our Leesport, PA location 3 days a week
- Ft. Myers, FL is an alternate location
- Youll report to our CFO
- Up to 25% travel to other Seakeeper locations is possible with this role

Our DevSecOps Manager is a brand-new role and will set the foundation and vision for the future of our DevOps department at Seakeeper. This team will cover a lot of ground, ensuring the behind-the-scenes work gets done to keep Seakeeper operating smoothly.
