AnthroMed Education is expanding our team of Speech-Language Pathologists who support our students throughout the state of Illinois, and we want you to be a part of our team

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Lansing, IL. This position involves working with a caseload of approximately 22 students with mild to moderate disabilities. The school is looking for an SLP who will work for around 14-16 hours per week but will be given the flexibility to make their schedule. There are currently 2 SLPs within the district and they are hoping to add a part-time SLP to help with larger caseloads of the two SLPs.

Support we provide our clinicians: AnthroMed Education has a wonderful SLP Director of Clinical Support who offers our clinicians support throughout the school year

Compensation: $50.21/hr - $62.21/hr

Location: Lansing, IL 60438

Hours: 2 days per week (flexible on days) 8am-3:30pm

Speech-Language Pathologist Duties:
  • Complete evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth
  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students
  • Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and classroom teachers to meet the students’ speech and/or language needs
  • Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans
  • Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders
Speech-Language Pathologist Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Communication Disorders
  • IDFPR license eligible in the state of Illinois
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois
  • Preferred experience in a K-12 setting
