Position Overview:

As a Concrete Polishing Operator, you will play a key role in executing concrete polishing projects from start to finish. This role requires expertise in operating heavy machinery, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team on-site. We seek a proactive and responsible individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:


Operate Concrete Polishing Machinery:
  • Proficiently operate grinders, polishers, and other concrete machinery.
  • Adjust and calibrate equipment to meet project specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines.
Lead and Supervise Job Sites:
  • Oversee job site activities and ensure that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to ensure alignment on project goals.
Execute High-Quality Polishing Projects:
  • Apply polishing techniques to achieve the desired finish and quality.
  • Identify and solve issues related to surface imperfections.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards.
Implement Premier Polishing Systems and Processes:
  • Follow company processes for different flooring applications.
  • Train new team members on equipment use and safety protocols.
  • Continuously improve work processes and methods.
Maintain Equipment and Tools:
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or repairs needed promptly.
  • Keep work vehicles organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
Customer Interaction and Satisfaction:
  • Represent the company professionally on-site.
  • Address client concerns and questions with knowledge and confidence.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality results.
Qualifications:
  • Experienced Operator: At least 2-3 years of experience in concrete polishing or related construction fields.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of concrete polishing techniques and equipment.
  • Leadership Abilities: Experience in leading teams and managing job sites effectively.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and ability to produce flawless finishes.
  • Proactive Problem Solver: Ability to anticipate challenges and develop solutions efficiently.
  • Reliable and Responsible: Demonstrated track record of dependability and punctuality.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship.
