These include manufacturing and distribution facilities, data centers, commercial properties, towers, signs, historical preservation efforts, adaptive reuse, and renovations. This role focuses on the Telecom sector, requiring deep expertise in telecom-related structural systems and projects. • Serve as the primary client contact, attending meetings with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.
  • Oversee and mentor junior staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality work.
  • Conduct design calculations, review shop drawings, perform site inspections, and prepare RFIs to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to deliver high-quality, on-time results while managing multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What We Are Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering (or related field) and 8–15 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 3 years in the telecom industry.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license and seismic design experience required.
  • Skilled in structural design across various materials, including wood, steel, concrete, post-tensioned concrete, light gauge steel, and masonry for low to mid-rise structures.
  • Proficient in industry-standard software such as Bentley (RAM), RISA, EnerCalc, Adapt, and Revit, with project management and client relationship experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, lead teams, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn, improve, and take initiative.
  • Apply relevant codes and standards based on project-specific jurisdictions to ensure compliance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information.
