Activation Marketing Manager

The Activation Marketing Manager, North America has the responsibility for delivering marketing programs for key segments and products in the region. This includes developing and executing marketing campaigns and demand generation programs for current and new products within the AOC Formulations portfolio. This role reports to the Director of Strategic Marketing.
General:
- Develop and execute compelling marketing strategies and programs for key products and segments to drive customer engagement, demand generation and sales pipeline growth;
- Create and manage execution of all integrated marketing tactics, including digital & social strategies, for prioritized programs;
- Work closely with sales and technical teams to develop training, supporting tools and marketing collateral to drive customer and channel partner engagement;
- Deliver demand generation and financial results (measured by lead generation, sales pipeline growth, and business growth) on an annual basis;
More specifics include:
- Build and execute marketing programs for engagement across the value chain (distributor, direct customer & end customer);
- Drive demand generation strategies and tactics to generate qualified leads;
- Enable sales team with the right tools and assets to help create new opportunities and to support nurturing opportunities in the pipeline;
- Interface with tech service and technical teams on applications to develop value added content and tools (application profiles, whitepapers, webinars, case studies, etc.);
- Develop digital and social media strategies and tactics for enhanced reach of key programs;
- Drive launch package execution for new products;
- Measure results of marketing programs and make adjustments as needed for maximum impact;
- Provide input to marketing planning, program and calendar development;
- Provide media buy recommendations;
- Ensure projects progress in a timely fashion;
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- MBA (desirable);
- Business, Communications, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering degree;
Experience:
- 6+ years of product marketing, digital marketing, or marketing communications experience for specialty chemicals or associated industries;
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- Results-oriented, self-motivated individual with proven track record to manage multiple projects;
- Excellent written and verbal skills to cut through the noise and drive engagement with customers & partners;
