Job Description:EliteCare Medical Staffing is seeking for a dedicated and skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our Radiology team in Anacortes, WA. This position is crucial for delivering high-quality imaging services, facilitating accurate diagnoses, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform computed tomography (CT) and X-ray examinations for trauma, stroke, outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room patients.
  • Operate a Siemens scanner effectively while ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Administer intravenous (IV) injections as required for imaging studies.
  • Maintain a high volume of scans/studies, averaging between 60-80 per day.
  • Collaborate with the radiology supervisor and lead technologist during the day shift to ensure optimal department functioning.
  • Provide support to other areas as needed during the graveyard shift, covering both X-ray and CT services.
  • Utilize Meditech for Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and assist with the transition to Phillips PACS systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all certification requirements, including BLS, ARRT, and state licensure.

Qualifications:
  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and state license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Preferred experience in trauma and stroke patient care.
  • Familiarity with Siemens equipment and imaging procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Department Overview:Our radiology department is equipped with one CT scanner and provides critical imaging services for various patient needs. The lead technologist oversees daily operations, ensuring that high standards are met.
