Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate PTA who specializes in return to sport rehabilitation, manual therapy, and dry needling. The ideal candidate will work closely with our team of physical therapists to provide high-quality care, helping athletes recover from injury and improve their physical performance. This role requires hands-on therapeutic techniques and a deep understanding of sports injuries and functional rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in return to sport protocols, including sport-specific strengthening, conditioning, and performance assessments.
  • Perform manual therapy techniques such as joint mobilizations, soft tissue mobilization, and cupping to aid in recovery.
  • Administer dry needling treatments to alleviate muscle tension and improve mobility.
  • Support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, ensuring treatment goals are met and documenting progress.
  • Collaborate with licensed Physical Therapists to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and at-home exercises.
  • Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment, including equipment management and sanitization.

Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Texas.
  • Certification in Dry Needling (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience or specialization in sports rehabilitation and manual therapy techniques.
  • Strong understanding of biomechanics, injury prevention, and exercise physiology.
  • Passion for working with athletes and active individuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
