The Opportunity

As an Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering world-class data center solutions by managing the procurement, delivery, and seamless integration of critical owner-supplied equipment—like servers, cooling systems, and electrical components. Your expertise will ensure these components meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and functionality.

Responsibilities:

Procurement and Logistics

  • Collaborate with the procurement team to track orders for owner-furnished equipment.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules to align with project timelines.

Documentation and Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records of OFCI shipments, delivery dates, and installation statuses.
  • Ensure all equipment complies with project standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate inspections and tests for owner-furnished equipment.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable team to address system discrepancies and contract terms adherence

Risk Management

  • Identify and resolve issues such as delays, damaged equipment, or missing components.
  • Mitigate risks related to mismatched equipment or incorrect installation.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and quality assurance teams to integrate OFCI into the project.
  • Develop and maintain OFCI partner performance metrics

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, engineering, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Prior experience in construction, supply chain management, or logistics (3-5 years).
    • Previous Data Center or Mission Critical infrastructure experience
  • Skills:
    • Understanding of equipment specifications, installation processes, and regulatory requirements.
    • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
    • Proficiency in tracking equipment schedules and resolving logistical challenges.
    • Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
