Hiring now: Part-time school-based Occupational Therapist in Owings Mills, MD


We are seeking a Part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) in person for a school-based assignment in Owings Mills, MD to join our team in treating and assessing school-based needs. You will have a caseload of approximately 2-6 elementary school students to provide services, develop IEPs, and assess Below average caseload size, supportive, inclusive school district; its the ideal position

Responsibilities:
  • Implement direct Occupational Therapy services and implement IEP treatment plan.
  • Document and store treatment plans and progress reports.
  • Update student progress reports.
  • Implement and document the therapeutic interventions and provide feedback to the special education team and COTA on the student's progress during treatment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Attend training as requested, collaborate, and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.
Qualifications:
  • REQUIRED: Current Maryland Board of Occupational Therapy license.
  • Graduate Degree in Occupational Therapy with an active Maryland OT license or eligibility pending.
  • Ability to build rapport with staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive and collaborative demeanor.
