We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Patient Navigator Advocate (PNA) at Mid Cities Psychiatry. In this vital role, you will support patients by managing referrals, enhancing our brand presence, and educating them about our services including TMS, Esketamine, and Ketamine therapies, CBT, and cognitive testing.

Responsibilities include managing appointment schedules, processing payments, and coordinating follow-up care both in-person and via telehealth. Ideal candidates should be passionate about mental health, possess a strong work ethic, and be eager to meet and surpass objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a welcoming patient experience and promote a positive atmosphere.
  • Handle patient check-ins/outs, educate patients, and manage payments.
  • Answer in-person inquiries at the Front Desk and stay updated on workflow changes.
  • Understand and navigate the Electronic Medical Reporting (EMR) system.
  • Manage patient flow and scheduling, ensuring timely care by providers.
  • Set up payment plans and verify insurance for behavioral and primary care services.
  • Meet or exceed key metrics for collections and scheduling.
  • Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals at the clinic, including providers and medical assistants, to ensure to deliver the highest quality care to patients.
  • Address and resolve complex issues promptly while aligning actions with Mid Cities Psychiatry values.
  • Document patient interactions and promote additional services.
  • Manage escalations effectively and ensure appropriate follow-through.
  • Operational support for practice, including organizing and maintaining patient areas.
  • Full-time role with hours 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree and experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation.
  • 1-3 years of healthcare experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Google Suite and past EMR experience (Mid Cities Psychiatry used iPatientCare)

Work Environment:
  • Office setting with a focus on desk work and frequent computer use.
  • Physical demands involve light lifting, prolonged standing, and frequent use of the phone.
