Mission of the Position

The Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing. The mission of the position is to generate interest in Mirazons services in our target market, resulting in growing Mirazons market share and revenue. This role requires a skilled communicator who can understand Mirazons value proposition and target client, and position appropriate Mirazon solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This individual possesses a strong drive and a competitive nature in order to strive for goals both for Mirazon and clients.

Objective of the Position

Our team is in search of a driven, results-focused Marketing Manager to further our brand by managing our marketing strategy and team. Your role will include developing strategies around and executing on traditional and digital advertising, content marketing and SEO, industry events and Mirazon-hosted webinars and events.

Key Requirements

  • 5 or more years experience in B2B marketing and lead generation
  • Familiarity with website CMS and email marketing platform functionality
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Key Accountabilities

  1. Develop overall marketing strategy
  2. Campaign planning, execution, and measurement
  3. Create and execute go-to-market plans with strategic vendors

Measurable Accountabilities

Measurable accountabilities are the full list of direct responsibilities of this job. Each one has a metric that shows what success looks like for accomplishing the accountability. You are expected to meet the metrics as listed. Performance of the accountabilities will be evaluated no less than on an annual basis.

  • Develop and manage overall marketing plan
    • Create the plan, execute on it, and provide quarterly reporting
  • Website management
    • Keep website accessible and secure, updated on patches and plugins, and is regularly updated in alignment with changes in service offerings
  • Monthly event planning
    • Execute at least one lead-generating event per month
  • Content creation
    • Create at least one case study/whitepaper per quarter
  • Manage marketing budget
    • Track planned and executed expenses, stay within budget
  • Partner with strategic vendors on campaigns
    • Maintain working relationships with vendor channel account managers and partner marketing managers to include vendor support into marketing plan, including funding, giveaways, joint messaging or joint event execution.
  • Brand equity
    • Ensure adherence to our brand guidelines; select marketing campaigns that align with our brand promise
  • Campaign management
    • Plan, execute and measure each campaign. Calculate ROI and cost per lead for every campaign for later analysis/planning.
  • Search engine optimization
    • Create and manage a plan to rank first page on Google for targeted keyterms, including one unique blog post each week.
  • Lead generation
    • Facilitate the generation of at minimum four MQLs per month
