Physical Therapist

We are currently seeking a part-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Hiawatha, KS, in a 100% outpatient clinic. This position is open to both new graduates and experienced professionals. Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Assess, treat, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress.
  • Program Development: Plan, market, and develop new therapy programs to enhance patient outcomes and meet community needs.
  • Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
  • Staff Education: Lead in-service training sessions for fellow therapists and staff to promote continuous learning and best practices.
  • Operational Support: Assist with the daily operations of the therapy department, ensuring high standards of care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's (B.A., B.S.), Master's (M.A., M.S.), or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy.
  • Licensure: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program. Must possess or be eligible for state licensure in Kansas.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
  • Experience: New graduates are encouraged to apply Experience in home health or outpatient therapy is beneficial but not required.
