*Employment Type:* Full time *Shift:* 12 Hour Night Shift *Description:* *Position Purpose * In the Inpatient Rehab Unit at *Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital*, the Registered Nuse (RN) provides inpatient care for adult patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions requiring intensive therapy. *What You Will Do:** Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals. * Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management interventions as prescribed as well as monitoring for complications, infections, or changes in condition, responding appropriately to emergencies. * Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote functional independence. *Minimum Qualifications **Required: ** Graduation from an accredited nursing school * Valid RN license in Connecticut *Preferred:** Bachelor's degree in Nursing * The ideal candidate will have two or more years of rehabilitation, orthopedic, or med-surg nursing in a acute inpatient setting. * BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)*Position Highlights:** Full Time: 36hrs/week-Night Shift * Rotating Weekend/ Every other Holiday *Ministry/Facility Information* Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital's Behavioral Health Services include a full range of mental health and substance abuse treatment programs for all ages.
