Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Project Engineer to join our award-winning full-service firm located in Livingston, NJ. This is a full-time, in-person position requiring candidates to live within driving distance of the office. Candidates must be valid to work in the USA and possess all necessary credentials. Responsibilities will include: * Develop construction documents, including plans, details and sections, for buildings and other structures. * Preparing calculations for steel, wood, concrete, and masonry structural materials utilizing current building codes * Coordinate directly with architectural and other engineering disciplines * Survey existing structural systems for analysis of renovation projects * Visit sites under construction to review progress and prepare field reports Required education, skills, and experience: * Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering * *Professional Engineer license** *Structural Engineer license (Preferred)** 5-10 years of structural engineering experience in US * Experience in designing structural systems for commercial, industrial, educational, residential and similar types of buildings. * Experience in designing steel, wood, concrete and masonry with current building codes. * Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAFE, RAM, SAP200, Enercalc, and Excel spreadsheets.
