We are looking for a dedicated MRI Technologist PRN like you to be a part of our team.
We are currently seeking a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist to provide magnetic resonance imaging services to patients performing procedures in a compassionate and respectful manner. As an MRI Technologist under the direction of a radiologist, duties will include but are not limited to:
Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment
Obtain high-quality MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation
Facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast material
Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated
Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with necessary supplies
Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, basic computer, and clerical skills Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
