We are seeking a(an) Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. As the Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will accomplish one or a combination of several general radiographic procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist. You will perform tests on in-patients and out-patients utilizing a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and we are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. You will perform all nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures.
* You will receive radioactive materials, prepare radioactive material doses and maintain radiation records.
* You will perform all tasks expected in rotation of hot lab area.
* You will utilize established radiation safety techniques and equipment.
* You will take emergency after hours call on rotating basis.

Graduate of an AMA accredited nuclear school of medicine or Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology is required.
* 1 year of previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred.


Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, Texas has been serving the Rio Grande Valley for more than 30 years. Our Women’s Services include L&D and a 30+ bed NICU. We also have an entire children’s hospital within our main facility to care for the children in our community. We work with the Texas Transplant Institute, which serves local patients in need of organ, tissue or stem cell transplants .
