RN - Hospital Day and Night Shifts, Full Time and PRN

Novant Health is hiring a registered nurse for the night s hift at our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, NC . We are seeking current or previous travel nurses who have worked with Novant Health who are interested in joining our 90 Day T emporary Assignment Program in the effort to convert to a permanent position after the assignment is completed.
~ Schedule : PRN, 0.1 FTE , Night Shift, 7 p m - 7 a m . Will be assigned a three 12-hour shift rotation every week for 13 weeks ( about 90 days) .
~ Department : Centralized Nursing Resources

Demonstrate refined assessment skills to understand patient's story, integrating subjective and objective data, physical and psychosocial components, preferences, and learning needs. Utilize ongoing data interpretation to determine immediate and future care needs.
~ Engage in dialogue with patients/support systems to identify preferences, incorporate them into care plans, and involve interdisciplinary teams. Establish realistic short and long-term goals, prioritizing interventions for optimal health outcomes.
~ Act with patient advocacy at the core, collaborating with healthcare teams to educate patients/support systems. Administer and evaluate medication therapies, perform nursing interventions, and adapt care plans as needed.
~ Continuously assess patient progress toward goals, seeking input from patients/support systems and modifying care plans accordingly.
~ Effectively communicate care plans and progress to all team members, utilizing appropriate tools like SBARQ. Hold self and others accountable for optimal role performance.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required .
~ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing .
~ Current valid North Carolina nursing license required .
~ Current / previous employment as a travel nurse working with Novant Health.
