Position Role:
As a Sales Engineer for IT Managed Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team by leveraging your technical expertise to identify, develop, and close sales opportunities with prospects. You will serve as a trusted advisor, explaining our managed services offerings and customizing solutions that address the specific needs of each client. This is a customer-facing role that requires strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of IT infrastructures and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify business opportunities and generate leads.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for prospective clients.
- Customize IT Managed Services solutions that meet client requirements, including cloud solutions, network security, data backup, disaster recovery, and more.
- Provide technical support during the sales cycle, answering client queries and concerns.
- Engage in technical discussions with clients to ensure clear understanding of their IT infrastructure and requirements.
- Assist in preparing RFP responses, proposals, and contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitor offerings.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Information Technology, or a related field. Or military equivalent.
- 1-3+ years of experience in IT Managed Services, Sales Engineering, or a technical sales role.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud services, and security.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with ITIL, project management, and service delivery processes is a plus.
