We are seeking a variety of GENERAL LABOR / MACHINE SHOP ASSOCIATES for a manufacturing company in the Park Forest, IL area We have immediate openings in numerous departments on the production floor depending on your experience and interest.

These are TEMP-TO-HIRE positions with insurance and OT available

1st shift 6:30am-3:00pm
2nd shift 3:15pm-11:45pm OR 12:30pm-9:00pm
3rd shift 10:30pm-6:30am

$16.25 - $17.50/hr depending on shift and department

Client is willing to train candidates with a solid work ethic and positive attitude. Previous warehouse experience preferred.

  • FABRICATION / MACHINE OPERATING
  • SHIPPING / WRAPPING
  • ASSEMBLY
  • POWDER COATING

Typical Job Duties

  • Operate machines including press machines and grinders, measure parts using a tape measure
  • Order pulling and fulfilling
  • Assembly using hand and power tools
  • Operate a manual pallet jack
  • Use shrink wrap machine to wrap pallets for shipment
  • Final Assembly and Shipping duties as needed

​​Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of recent warehouse/production experience. Manufacturing experience a PLUS
  • Ability to handle physical workload, lift up to 50 lbs., and stand for a full shift
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow direction
  • Familiarity with plant tools and equipment - hand tools, power tools, etc. PREFERRED
  • Ability to read a tape measure and solid math skills PREFERRED
