Field Superintendent

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Superintendent to join our team.

Position Summary:

The Field Superintendent will be responsible for managing and overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry and a proven track record of successfully completing projects of various sizes and complexities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee on-site construction activities, including scheduling, safety, quality control, and budget management.

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulations.

- Develop and maintain construction schedules, ensuring that project milestones and deadlines are met.

- Monitor and review project progress, identifying and addressing any issues that may impact the project timeline or budget.

- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.

- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and other trades to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of tasks.

- Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure all workers adhere to safety regulations and procedures.

- Identify and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during construction.

- Proactively identify potential risks and implement measures to mitigate them.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years of experience as a Field Superintendent.

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

- Proven track record of successfully completing projects of various sizes and complexities.

- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.

- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.

- Strong time management and organizational skills.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

- OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Salary: $26,000 to $40,000 yearly 
 

Working Conditions:

This position primarily requires on-site work and may involve working long hours, evenings, and weekends. The Field Superintendent must be able to work in various weather conditions and regularly lift and carry construction materials and equipment.
