About Magnolia Whizz Kids Academy:
Located in the heart of Magnolia Village since 1989, Magnolia Whizz Kids Academy features an open-concept, cozy environment with updated wood floors, family photos, and plants throughout. We bridge the gap between home and school, offering a nurturing atmosphere where children can grow and thrive. Our central Art Studio allows all children to explore their creativity, and our Spanish Immersion program integrates Spanish into the everyday curriculum. Children also enjoy playing at the nearby park, participating in kickball, baseball, and other field games.

Additional Locations:

  • Northgate: A two-story school house with two playgrounds, three classrooms, and a dedicated art studio. We enjoy a community-driven environment and have a garden that provides fresh produce for snacks and meals.
  • Lake Forest Park: Offering a spacious playground, four classrooms, and a PreK classroom focused on Kindergarten readiness. Our Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum ensures every child's developmental needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an emergent curriculum for preschool-aged children (3–5 years) that encourages cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Lead classroom activities that promote critical thinking, creativity, and positive social interactions.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents to share child development and learning progress.
  • Mentor and support assistant teachers to maintain a positive and organized classroom environment.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working with preschool-aged children.
  • AA degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; CDA accepted.
  • 30 hours of basic STARS, CPR, First Aid, and HIV/BBP training, TB test, food handler's card, and portable background check.
  • Spanish speakers encouraged to apply.
