Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for a Semi Trailer Mechanic to join our team You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining various semi trailers and related activities. We are a pallet manufacturer and repair facility with a fleet of over 200 trailers throughout Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin. 

Responsibilities:

  • Follow through with all aspects of semi trailer repair and preventive maintenance.
  • Duties include but not limited to: welding, metal fabrication, light and ABS wiring, tire repair, roof repair DOT inspections, brake and suspensions repair
  • Previous experience as a mechanic
  • Knowledge of shop equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Be able to preform DOT inspections
  • Be able to be a self started with little supervision
  • Work with owner of company with goal setting and follow through of set goals
