Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven US Regional Sales Manager with experience in commercial furniture sales to join our team selling Loop Phone Booths. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing sales operations across the United States, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with current and new commercial furniture dealers and end customers of Loop Phone Booths and Loop Furniture.

Your primary focus will be to grow our US market share in the product category of office pods. You will meet with and present to architects, designers, and specifiers with the goal of establishing Loop as an industry leader. The ideal candidate will be passionate about furniture design, possess a strategic mindset, and have the drive necessary to exceed sales targets.

This role will consist of a base salary plus commission with the potential for high earnings for a top performing candidate.

Duties

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to manage existing accounts and win new accounts to increase market share while meeting or exceed regional sales targets.
  • Working independently with support of our internal sales team to close sales and increase revenue with an entrepreneurial and growth driven mindset.
  • Meet and collaborate with independent sales representatives in local territories to win business.
  • Articulate Loop's value proposition using a brand driven approach and technical knowledge to highlight our products competitive advantage.
  • Plan, organize and allocate travel time to priority regions based on business opportunities.
  • Network with key influencers, understanding that some of these activities may occur after normal business hours. Including, but not limited to, commercial furniture dealers, corporate customers, general contractors, and architects / designers.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide professional presentations, created by the in-house Loop team, to commercial furniture dealers, end customers, and architects / designers.
  • Be a product expert in all technical aspects of Loop products and display an unwavering belief in the brand.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the commercial furniture industry as a manufacturer representative or working in a commercial furniture dealership is a requirement.
  • Advanced sales skills and tactics including solution-based and consultative selling, strategic analysis, and brand based positioning.
  • Proven ability to close sales and establish relationships for ongoing orders with new and existing commercial furniture dealers and end customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a consultative B2B, solution-based sales role with a demonstrated track record of generating revenue and meeting sales targets.
  • Cold call skills to develop new business opportunities with commercial furniture dealers and end users.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed strategic decisions.
  • This role requires extensive travel throughout the US and the candidate must be willing and able to travel for in-person meetings and presentations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Existing contacts in key markets or at key dealerships is considered a significant asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, architecture, interior design, communication, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience with specifying and selling office pods.
  • Experience in marketing and ability to execute on marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity and experience with Netsuite CRM software for sales analytics and reporting.
