This is a 6-12 month temp to perm opportunity

The SQA Engineer will play a key role in the assessment of software related to Computed Tomography (CT) security systems. These systems are an integral part of automated baggage handling at airports worldwide. The role will involve providing support to the software quality engineering team throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the product manager and lead quality engineer to integrate test planning from the start of a project.
  • Participate in software design reviews and progress meetings.
  • Develop and document test cases, and assist with test automation when applicable.
  • Oversee the final evaluation of software for CT-based security solutions and carry out necessary testing procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least three years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working with successful software systems and products.
  • Proficiency in Linux, Python, and C/C++.
  • Familiarity with Java, QT, Squish, Accurev, Jama, and Jira is advantageous.
