The Charlton Group is seeking a talented and experienced technical project manager to oversee a wide variety of technical infrastructure and security projects from conceptual design through implementation across our client base. The right candidate will be a team player and have a deep understanding of project management methodologies. They will be an excellent communicator and be able to clearly articulate the next steps and push projects forward through an interactive, collaborative approach. They will demonstrate a sense of urgency, have strong organizational skills, and follow through on commitments to achieve high-quality, repeatable results.

This role will work alongside our technical team managing a multitude of projects for small elite businesses in the financial and healthcare industries. Projects will encompass a diverse team including technical experts, executive leadership, vendors, and end users, and will typically be related to IT infrastructure, business applications, security, and networking deployments.

We work hybrid schedules with most of the time remote with on-site frequency determined by role. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinating all phases of project management including planning, executing, monitoring, and closing in a cooperative manner.
  • Collaborate with project teams to align scope and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for team members.
  • Ensure priorities are aligned with client expectations and that projects are completed on-time and within scope.
  • Holding regular technical team meetings to drive progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely while running meetings and writing communications.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and support and direct teams in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and maintain all project status reports and schedules; manage risks and re-set expectations as needed in consideration of project progress/outcomes.
  • Drive project tasks and projects to completion. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of Technical Infrastructure Project Management experience
  • Self-motivated, focused, highly organized, and detailed oriented
  • Understand relevant technologies and architectures to properly support technical projects (hardware and software installation, upgrades, security, networking, rollouts)
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising project teams
  • Must possess experience in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills identifying and resolving project blockers.
  • Decisive leadership with the soft skills to lead internal team and client resources.
  • Ability to respond adeptly to rapidly changing priorities, with sound judgment, in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with exceptional ability to communicate in writing and verbally about issues at all levels of the organization.
  • Must have demonstrated competency in the areas of diplomacy and sensitivity.
  • Outstanding organizational and relationship-building skills.
