Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

Location: New Hope, PA / Lumberville, PA

Responsibilities:

As an Inside Sales Representative at Delaware Quarries, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales of our premium decorative stone veneer, and landscape products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Direct Communication: Engaging in effective one-to-one communication with customers, predominantly through telephone and electronic channels.
  • Promotional Activities: Conducting targeted promotion work to establish and cultivate relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Sales Reporting: Submitting comprehensive reports on sales activities, encompassing sales volume, potential, sales calls, market intelligence, and strategic insights.
  • Order Management: Efficiently entering quotes, closing and entering orders, and diligently following up on quotes and orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Relations: Promoting and maintaining exemplary customer relations by promptly addressing inquiries, providing information, and resolving concerns within company policies.
  • Product Knowledge: Responding to customer inquiries by providing comprehensive information about our products and making appropriate referrals when necessary.
  • Sales Analysis: Collaborating with field representatives to analyze records, evaluate present and past sales, trends, costs, estimated and realized sales, and future commitments.
  • Market Insight: Interpreting accounts and trends to provide insightful reports to management, including competitive activity.
  • Job Documentation: Requesting and obtaining photographs of finished jobs and customer yards for documentation purposes.
  • New Business Development: Actively participating in the selling process, contributing to the acquisition of new customers, and nurturing relationships with existing ones.
  • Pricing: Calculating and quoting prices within company policies and procedures.
  • Product Knowledge Development: Continuously developing and maintaining current product knowledge and staying abreast of industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal, writing, and computer skills.
  • Minimum one year of sales experience, preferably with dealers or contractors.
