Position Type: Full-time / Part-time
Fort Lauderdale Stars Gymnastics seeks enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced gymnastics instructors to join our team. As a Gymnastics Instructor, you will be essential in providing high-quality training and support to athletes of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors. You will help students develop physical strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence while fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Gymnastics Classes: Lead and instruct gymnastics classes for children and athletes, focusing on skill development, technique, and safety.
- Skill Progression: Ensure athletes are learning and progressing appropriately, providing individual feedback and adjustments to help them improve.
- Class Planning: Plan and implement skills and progressions that are challenging and engaging from the class schedule while also maintaining safety protocols.
- Injury Prevention & Safety: Promote safety in the gym, ensuring all equipment is used correctly, and athletes follow proper techniques to prevent injury.
- Encourage Positive Attitudes: Foster a positive and supportive environment, encouraging athletes to build confidence, work hard, and reach their best.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a smooth running of programs and maintain strong communication within the team.
- Parent Communication: Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress, addressing concerns or questions as necessary.
- Attend Staff Meetings & Training: Participate in staff meetings, ongoing training, and certification opportunities to ensure your knowledge is current.
