Job DescriptionJob Description

Our New Laboratory is looking for a qualified and experienced Laboratory Supervisor/Technician. Our Laboratory specialty -   Molecular and Toxicology testing. 

 

 

Determine and perform assigned quality control procedures

Have responsibility for all maintenance, quality control, correlation studies and method validation on all instruments and procedures within the division

Perform weekly data review and updates of inventory data

Mentor and train laboratory technicians

Provides clinical and administrative oversight to laboratory / pathology supervisory personnel and administrative assistants

Review of all proficiency testing (CAP/COLA Surveys)

Review of all performance improvement activities

Provides oversight to laboratory supervisory personnel for the maintenance and updating of all Clinical Lab policy & procedure manuals

Evaluates personnel for job performance (EPRS) or reviews (including sign off) EPRS performed by the department supervisors

Conducts staff meetings on a regularly scheduled basis
