Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBENEFITS:

- Hourly pay of $20-$23 based on experience
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide dependable and accurate Mail Pickup and Delivery, which includes US Postal Services (classified, insured, Express, Registered and Certified) and internal company mail.
- Drive safely and operate a cargo van and 26 foot box truck. Able to utilize these vehicles to complete deliveries to and from vendors.
- Sort mail by addressee’s name or Mail Stop number after it has been received from the US Postal Service.
- Deliver sorted mail to a mail stop or a secretary’s desk and pick up any out-bound and intra-company mail from the same locations.
- Process outbound mail (including classified, insured and standard) in preparation for its delivery into the USPS mail stream.
- Daily look up of mail without mail stations or with generic addresses.
- Special pickups of outgoing packages for U.S. Mail or 3rd Party carriers.
- Special delivery of critical packages to customers.
- Meter and deliver outgoing USPS mail directly into the USPS mail stream.
- Ensure management is aware of operational issues and provide solutions.
- Ensure mail equipment is properly cleaned, serviced and effectively utilize.
- Comfortable with driving long distances at a time occasionally.
REQUIREMENTS:
Computer skills (Microsoft Office) and English language skills sufficient to look up the internal address of an employee and communicate effectively.
Mailroom experience is required.
Experience operating postage machines.
Superior customer service skills.
Ability to independently lift/carry up to 50 lbs. packages and boxes without assistance.
Ability to push or pull carts of up to 100 pounds without assistance.
Warehouse experience using hand truck, dollies, pallet jack, palletize boxes, and shrink wrapping freight.
- Must pass Background Check and Screenings.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be a citizen of the United States.
- Must be able to obtain and retain a DOT Medical Card.
