Eagerly seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the retail or e-commerce industry and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role focuses on supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with inventory management processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices, payments, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of receivables.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including reconciliations.
  • Support the Finance Manager in reporting and forecasting activities.
  • Prepare documentation for internal and external audits as needed.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in tracking inventory levels and support inventory reconciliations.
  • Work with inventory management teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small, team-oriented environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
