East Bay Machine & Sheet Metal has an opening at our Concord, CA facility for an assembly technician.

Responsibilities include organizing inventory, assembling components using hand tools, reviewing completed components for defects, applying bar-code labels, and palletizing completed products for shipment. Typical products include assembling a variety of steel cabinets by installing drawer slides, shelves, locks and related hardware, and mounting hinged doors. Each unit is unique and is assembled per print based on number of shelves, doors, and type of hardware. You will be working on the same product lines each week. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and assemble components quickly and accurately is required.

Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar production assembly environment or demonstrated work history using hand tools.

East Bay Machine & Sheet Metal is a contract manufacturer and supplies components to the automotive, industrial, and food and beverage industries. Founded in 2006 in Concord, the company has expanded to 2 locations with more than 40 employees. We offer competitive pay, healthcare and retirement plan benefits, as well as holiday and vacation pay.

We operate on a Monday - Thursday schedule (5am - 3:30pm) with overtime on most Friday's.
