Senior Quality Manager - Plastic Manufacturing
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Quality Manager to lead our quality team and drive excellence in our plastic manufacturing operations. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. You will lead a team of quality professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues, improve processes, and promote a culture of quality excellence. Role is Primarily in Auburn, AL and occasionaly at our Dadeville, Al Plant.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Lead and manage a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure effective quality operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and sales, to identify and address quality issues, improve processes, and promote quality excellence
Develop and implement quality metrics, benchmarks, and dashboards to measure and track quality performance
Conduct internal audits and quality assessments to ensure compliance with quality systems and processes
Identify and mitigate quality risks, including supply chain risks, to ensure continuity of quality operations
Develop and manage quality budgets, resources, and capital expenditures
Foster a culture of quality excellence, encouraging employee engagement, empowerment, and accountability
Represent the company in quality-related matters, including customer audits, regulatory inspections, and industry conferences
Develop, maintain, and implement quality documents, including:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA, ISO, and IATF standards
Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
Corrective Action Reports (CARs)
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Work Instructions (WIs)
Quality Manual
Control Plans
Inspection and Test Plans
Calibration Procedures
Training Records
Audit Reports
Management Review Reports
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field (engineering, quality, manufacturing) required; master's degree preferred
10+ years of experience in quality management, preferably in plastic manufacturing
Proven track record of success in leading quality teams, improving quality processes, and driving quality excellence
Strong knowledge of quality systems, processes, and standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze complex quality issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with quality tools and techniques, including Six Sigma, Lean, and statistical process control
Working Conditions
