Newberg, United States Shazam! The Magic Show Full time
Job DescriptionJob Description

Join the cast and crew of Shazam The Magic Show to get back on the road now.

The 2022 tour is expected to be the largest touring magic show in America.

Rehearsals begin soon in preparation for a preview date in early February. Interviews and auditions are being booked now. Jobs are available for female and male performers. In addition, the show will be hiring drivers, stagehands, supplemental light and sound technicians, animal trainers and a front of house manager. Due to the nature of a magic show, and the dimensions of the illusions and props, females must be between 5’2’’ and 5’5” tall with a flexible, petite frame. Weight should be between 105 and 130lbs. Also due to the physical demands of performing in an illusion show, and for the safety of the other performers, males must easily bench-press 150 lbs or more.

Legs of the next two season’s tours are anticipated to be from three nights to three weeks in length each. It is expected that the initial travel distances will be within 600 miles of the home base of Newberg, Oregon. Housing while on the road will be a mix of travel trailers and hotels. Light meals and snacks are provided on site.

Regular performers salaries range from $650 - $850 per week, depending on experience and skills. Dancing, singing, juggling, aerial and comedic acting skills will be an advantage. There is also an opportunity to earn a percentage of souvenir merchandise sales. Salaries for driving, technical, run crew and labor positions will be negotiated. Rehearsals will be paid at a rate of $60 per ½ day session. When off the road, stipend pay may be available for show, prop, and wardrobe maintenance as well as unscheduled rehearsal.
